No plugins in self-built ktorrent

Mon Jun 23, 2008 11:09 pm
Since for some reason OpenSUSE 11.0 KDE4:Unstable doesn't include ktorrent, I had to manually compile ktorrent. I got the tarball, installed it to /usr/local. Added /usr/local to KDEDIRS, ran kbuildsycoca4.

KTorrent starts, but there are no plugins listed in the configuration. And there is only the "Queue manager" tab at the bottom. This is quite annoying, since I can't prioritize the files being downloaded.

Help! :)

Well it turns out I just needed to use the KDE4 "factory" 4.1 build service, and it has KTorrent, which works great. So I've deleted my local copy.

Sorry to anyone in google-land looking for an answer to this problem. ;)

he probably didn't run configure right. most likely he left out the plugins. although I haven't run configure manually in a while on ktorrent. Do you have to enable the plugins, or are they disable flags?

There is no configure in KT 3.X, we use cmake now
