When I choose to download just one or two out of thousand files in a torrent, and than keep seeding them after they've downloaded, am I reported as a seeder (in my opinion wrong) or as a leecher (in my opinion correct) to the tracker?
The point is, am I giving a wrong picture about the number of seeders when doing so?

Ktorrent will show that I'm seeding. Otherwise it would be a clear matter and I wouldn't post the question. Anyways, thanks for the answer ppl.

Yeah, but that is only for the user to it knows that the files marked for downloaded are completed. So it only is a local status, and therefore has nothing todo with the status on the tracker side. |

That's what I meant by "you're reported as a leecher to the tracker" and "but since you're not downloading the client shows it as seeding." |
