Hi, I upgraded from Kubuntu 8.04 to 8.10 and also that upgraded to the latest ktorrent, now here's the problem, I've had quite a few torrents running there, and now the torrent list is back to as if it was a few months ago...

Well, the KTorrent 3 version has an KTorrent 2 version importer, so you might have used that.

Those would be 3.1.2 and 3.1.1, but I'm guessing those are not the ones kubuntu ships.

What probably happened is that kubuntu 8.04 is still using version 2 (probably 2.2.5 or 2.2.7) and that 8.10 is using version 3.

Check the file menu for an entry named import KDE3 torrents, that will import all the torrents. This entry was only added in 3.1 so if you have a 3.0 version, you need to do it manually.
