Compiling 3.1.2 on Ubuntu Hardy

Tue Sep 09, 2008 4:47 pm
Hi,
I'm trying to compile Ktorrent 3.1.2 from source on Ubuntu Hardy (8.04).

cmake works without problems, but make gives this:
Code: Select all
[ 70%] Building CXX object plugins/bwscheduler/CMakeFiles/ktbwschedulerplugin.dir/schedulegraphicsitem.o
/var/files/ktorrent/ktorrent-3.1.2/plugins/bwscheduler/schedulegraphicsitem.cpp: In constructor 'kt::ScheduleGraphicsItem::ScheduleGraphicsItem(kt::ScheduleItem*, const QRectF&, const QRectF&, kt::WeekScene*)':
/var/files/ktorrent/ktorrent-3.1.2/plugins/bwscheduler/schedulegraphicsitem.cpp:44: error: 'setAcceptHoverEvents' was not declared in this scope
/var/files/ktorrent/ktorrent-3.1.2/plugins/bwscheduler/schedulegraphicsitem.cpp: At global scope:
/var/files/ktorrent/ktorrent-3.1.2/plugins/bwscheduler/schedulegraphicsitem.cpp:243: warning: unused parameter 'event'
make[2]: *** [plugins/bwscheduler/CMakeFiles/ktbwschedulerplugin.dir/schedulegraphicsitem.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [plugins/bwscheduler/CMakeFiles/ktbwschedulerplugin.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2

I have the QT 3.3.8 and the QT 4.3.4 installed on the system.

Edit: cmake seems to use the 4.3.4 version:
Code: Select all
REFIX=/usr/lib/kde4/ ..
-- Found Qt-Version 4.3.4 (using /usr/bin/qmake-qt4)

OK thanks, compiled fine now.
I now have the problem that i don't have any plugins avaible in the ktorrent options. cmake stated that all plugins would be compiled. Should they have been installed automatic?

Try running kbuildsycoca4 then restart KT, that should find them if KT is installed in the same place as KDE4
