Hello all,
I have been a satisfied user of Ktorrent for a long time and have downloaded and thus shared many files with it. Recently I had to make some hardware changes, resulting in a *massive* transfer of downloaded data. Almost 1 TB. All my torrents have been moved to a single dir, so I figured editing the new download location would be a piece of cake. I used this:
This edited all the download location (value of OUTPUTDIR in stats-file) for all the torrent I ever downloaded. But this is clearly not working, because after completing a download Ktorrent keeps symlinks in the cache folder of each torrent. I must have thousands of these now! Anyway, changing the download location in the GUI does not work with completed downloads, so the only option is to figure out how to edit all the symlinks so that part of the path to which it referred may be edited. Anybody know how to go about this? Thanks |
