I recently upgraded my system to Kuntunu 8.10 beta, which comes with KTorrent 3.1.2. In version 2.x there was a search or filter box below the torrent list. When you typed something in the box, the torrent list in the currently active tab was filtered to only show torrents which's name matched the filter term. Is that feature still available in 3.1.2? And if so, how to enable it?

It was never ported to the 3.X versions
