Hey guys,
How can you tell if the client is connectible in version 3.1.2? I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 by the way. I opened the port in my router, and I set that port into KTorrent. But coming from uTorrent(and even Deluge), I'm used to there being a Check Port button, where all I do is click and it will tell me if I'm connectible. But there's not one in KTorrent. There's not even any type of graphical indicator on the client interface to show if you're connectible or not. So am I missing something? Or is there no way to tell in KTorrent 3.1.2. if you're connectible or not? Thank you for any help. |

Thank you George for answering my question. I appreciate that.
But can you please be a little more specific on where to look for the Authentication(S)? I'm being blind at the moment, so I am not seeing this at all anywhere. I'm guessing it would be somewhere at the bottom with Status, Files, WebSeed, etc. But I'm pressing those tabs and am seeing nothing. Thanks for the help. EDIT: Is it the LogViewerPlugin that I need to show the logging output? Because when I enabled it and pressed the Log Viewer tab the shows up at the bottom, nothing displays. The window is blank. And I have a torrent selected. So I'm guessing I'm not connectible then? |

Start the torrent, you only get those messages when somebody connects to you. If you still don't see anything, check the settings of the plugin, set everything to all. |
