I can't remove a torrent with 3.1.5

Wed Nov 26, 2008 10:13 pm
This might not be related to KTorrent but I am asking the question anyway. I have just installed KTorrent 3.1.5 on my FreeBSD 7.0-p5-machine and IIRC correctly in 2.x I could right click on a torrent and remove it that way (And also there was an option under File-menu to remove the torrent). What I have installed in Kde 4-way is Kdelibs4 and Kdebase4 and Kdehier 4 built from ports, but KTorrent is not built from ports since there is no port yet avilable. The icon in the systray in Xfce (Which is the window manager I am using) is just blank.Something is missing I imagine, but what? I have solved the immidiate problem by adding a keycombination is KTorrent for removing a torrent, but this is still annoying.

Cheers

Actually I can't rightclick and get a menu with different options as in KTorrent 2.x, when I rightclick nothing happens at all

The menu layout is loaded from a file, so it looks like that file can't be found.

You probably need to setup the KDEDIRS environment variable so that it includes the prefix ktorrent is installed in.
