so, i'm trying to switch over to nix for my fileservers and an important part of that is torrents. so i installed ktorrent fine, loaded it up, checked what ports it used, forwarded those ports in my router. downloaded a couple of torrents for a test-run, and i got no incoming connections, no data coming through whatsoever 0kb/s. I'm pretty sure I don't have a firewall installed on this gentoo box, but hmm.. nothin is goin nowhere
![]() heres a screen to show i've set stuff up right.. and also not shown here but the DHCP client log shows this pc is definately 10.1.1.3 thanks anyone willing to help out a newb ![]() ![]() |
