Media Player

Fri Jan 09, 2009 9:13 am
KTorrent has definitely become my client of choice on Linux. It's packed with features, and it has a great layout. I'm just in love with it.

Well, I just discovered the Media Player plugin. This is just awesome. Thank you for implementing this into the client. Now I don't have to start up another app to listen to music.

But, I was wondering if it is possible to get continuous playback with the media player? This plugin is great. But I have to constantly get back into KT and start the next track when one has finished. So is there any way at all to make the Media Player start the next track once it's done with one?

I'm using 3.1.2 right now. I haven't updated to 3.1.5 yet because I think all there is a .tar to update with, and I am not good at updating like that in linux. I prefer a .deb.

Thanks for any help.

Set mode to all files, or random files then it will continue playing.

One of the features I have planned for 3.3 is a proper playlist.

Thank you so much George. That did the trick. I'm really loving that a media player is built right into the client. I'll be looking forward to 3.3.

Thanks again. :D
