is there an easy (or hard) way to send a real-time message to one of my sharing peers?

ok, no problem - this is my first day with ktorrent and it seems really great!

The only client i know of which does chat is bitcomet, and i do not know how they have pulled this off. Maybe George wants to follow bitcomet, i have no idea really.

At the moment there is no plan to add such a feature, why is this useful ?

well its not useful at all if you ask me, especially not if bitcomet is the only other client that supports it... besides what would you want to message another peer for when he/she probably isnt ever looking in his/her torrent program, nor would ever reply.

also if such feature was added, you probably get a ton of spam messages, I can see it before my eyes, the billions of torrent users and a handful of spammers that sends out... you know the rest of the story....
