edit: Ah, I figured it out.

To anyone else who receives an "Error signal 11 (SIGSERV)" with ktorrent under Ubuntu Intrepid, reinstalling ktorrent by going opening a terminal and typing

cd ktorrent-3.2beta1
cd build
sudo make uninstall
sudo make install


seems to fix the issue. Doing this reinstalls all the libraries that might've gotten corrupted for whatever reason. Of course, replace "cd ktorrent-3.2beta1" with the actual version you're using, though you shouldn't get this error with any of the 3.1 bugfix releases after 3.1.2, if I'm not mistaken. toodles!

Post a backtrace if you get a crash, reinstalling does nothing for these kind of things.

That doesn't make any sense, because reinstalling did fix the issue for me..
