I think this happen because you upload is big. Limit your upload for +/- 20 kb. I think this will be result.

I am sorry. I do not think I understand what you mean. I only have 25K upload. This is not 'big'.

Which version of Ktorrent? Are using Windows or Linux?
I think we should set the speed limit in the torrent and not global.

Please make stable version Ktorrent for Windows! Portugal say: Thank you very much!

I see that the bandwidth scheduler plugin is loaded, this will take over the upload limits, so if you have no limit set in the bandwidth scheduler at the current time, it will set the limit to unlimited.

I see what you are saying. But don't you think that is poor design? The scheduler should obey my GLOBAL up/down limits, OR respect the ones that I EXPLICITY enter into the download scheduler. There should be a feature/option that allows me to tell the schedule to OBEY ALL GLOBAL UP/DOWN LIMITS. Or else, there is little benefit, and ktorrent loses users, and credibility.

Actually my last post wasn't correct, if there is no item set, it will use the global options.

However, are you sure there wasn't a schedule item set when you saw this ?

I know the upload limit works, seeing that I use it constantly, so it has got to be an item on the bandwidth scheduler.

Scheduler is clean. I make it run from (approx) 2AM-10AM my local time, and pause for the remainder of time- NO LIMITS! (well, hopefully obeying GLOBAL limits)

Scheduler overrides global limits, so if you set no limits in the scheduler, there are no limits. If there is no schedule item at the current time then the global limits will be used.
