Hi, first thanks for a good torrent client!

I like to download live shows from http://bt.etree.org/ but ktorrent can't connect to the tracker. The error is "Connection to host tracker.etree.org is broken." I can download most torrents thanks to DHT/peer exchange, though. Other trackers work fine.

Transmission works well and says "Tracker responded: OK (200)", which apparently means that it can connect to the tracker. I can't find any indication that ktorrent would be a banned client at the site.

The latest torrent I'm downloading is http://bt.etree.org/download.php/518451 ... 16.torrent

ktorrent version: 3.2 (self-compiled) - I had this error with 3.1.6 and a previous version, too.
Kubuntu 8.10, KDE 4.2.0

Er, ktorrent has begun to reach the tracker. So I guess there's no issue then. :p

I'm noticing this with a lot of torrents. I currently have 8 torrents on the same tracker, 2 connected fine, 6 tell me the connection is broken. I'm running on:
Qt4.5
KDE 4.2.1
ktorrent 3.2.0

I noticed the same problem on Qt4.4 so I don't think that Qt4.5 is specifically the problem.

I see this was mostly answered over here:
