Upgrading to 3.2

Wed Mar 11, 2009 12:33 pm
I have 3.1.2 installed now on Intrepid. Adept finds no updates. All update sources are selected. When I try to do it manually with the tar I get the error

Code: Select all
CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake-2.6/Modules/FindPackageHandleStandardArgs.cmake:57 (MESSAGE):
Could NOT find GMP (missing: GMP_INCLUDE_DIR GMP_LIBRARIES)
Call Stack (most recent call first):
  /usr/share/kde4/apps/cmake/modules/FindGMP.cmake:21 (FIND_PACKAGE_HANDLE_STANDARD_ARGS)
  CMakeLists.txt:4 (find_package)

I tried installing (I think successfully) GMP and still get the same error. Detailed help greatly appreciated. I'm just about a total newb.

Thanks

See the faq in the wiki for what packages you need, you probably neem lingmp3-dev and not the normal libgmp3.
