I'm a complete newbie at using both KTorrent and Linux, so please don't laugh of my question: how can I install KTorrent on my computer?

Well, what are you not understanding about it then.

Well, I understand nothing: I received a computer with Linux by my uncle, and I don't even know how to install a program with that.

Well, normally you will install packages from the command line, at least that is how i do that... with sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install <packagename>.

This is the same when you are going to compile from source. You just load a bash terminal like konsole and put the lines in there as it shows you in the wiki.

First of all what distribution are you using ?
