I am an Android phone user who is helping someone develop a remote torrent upload client. What this client does is it lets you search on your phone for a torrent, and it downloads it and sends it to your home computer and starts the download. It currently works great for uTorrent and Vuze, but neither are my prefered clients. I have asked the author to try and make it ktorrent compatible and he is having problems with the login part. He says both utorrent and vuze allow him to login, but ktorrent will not. I have tried it myself, and even tried posting the user/pass to the interface.php and login.html. Is what we are trying to do possible? I really do not want to have to run 2 torrent clients, let alone run Torrent in wine or vuze which slows my computer to a crawl. We tried http://user:pass@myip:port/<with and without filenames here> and he tried sending the login info in the request header and neither are working.

Good question. Forgot to even put that info there. He figured it out (not sure what, but something about a java version of it and a php version) and all is well. Thanks for the reply though.
