Error:Error:Reading past the end of the file

Ok this error is driving me insane, Its constantly making me redownload thing. How do i fix this? if its not fixable Ill use transmission because no such things happen to me when i use it.

I am using Ubuntu 8.10 and this is Ktorrent 3.1.2

BTW i am still having trouble figureing out Cmake this is what i did to try to install the new one.

How come you guys dont make a package for ubuntu users? that uses ./configure --> make install

Here is all the files in the folder after all the cmakes and stuff

ktorrent-3.2.tar.bz2
any help would be really appreciated

Because, autoconf is a piece of ****, and KDE has moved on to cmake.

Anyway, to install :

Make sure you run cmake in the build directory
