I get the following output when I try to compile ktorrent 3.2

Code: Select all
mark@laptop:~/Desktop/ktorrent-3.2/build$ cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=`kde4-config --prefix` ..
-- The C compiler identification is GNU
-- The CXX compiler identification is unknown
-- Check for working C compiler: /usr/bin/gcc

No cmake_minimum_required command is present.  A line of code such as

    cmake_minimum_required(VERSION 2.6)

This warning is for project developers.  Use -Wno-dev to suppress it.

I have no idea where to go from here. Any help to point me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

I am using Kubuntu 8.10, KDE 4.2, and everything is up to date.

Thanks. I didn't realise what that section of the wiki referred to. It seems that I have a few unmet dependencies. Instead of digging through packages to fix them I think I'll wait a week for Jaunty. Thanks for the reply.
