Forcing Ktorrent traffic through a particular interface...

I'm having a problem forcing all my traffic through a particular interface. I utilize a VPN service and only wish to have Ktorrent active when this interface is alive (it's a PPP interface).

With 3.2.2, if the VPN goes away it just briefly chokes and starts again without the interface available. Checking settings, I find that the drop-down box is now empty, and predictably the ppp0 interface is missing.

Understandably, the VPN will sometimes disconnect - little I can do about that.

My question: How can I force the VPN to auto-redial until connected, and how can I force Ktorrent to respect the interface selection even if the VPN is dropped?

Any help?

Thanks!

Listening on an interface will not force outbound traffic over that interface. So listening on all interfaces is probably the best thing you can do.
