RSS Feeds and Exclude Filters in 3.2.x

When I switched over to Fedora 11 recently, I upgraded KTorrent from 2.2.5 (which was working more or less perfectly for me) to 3.2.2, which appears to have a much nicer interface overall.

The issue I'm having is with filters. Previously, there was a list of "Include" filters and a list of "Exclude" filters. If there were things I didn't care for, like 720p items, I could exclude them by adding a single exclude filter and never worry about it again.

However, with 3.2.2, that functionality appears to have disappeared. I understand and can produce regex patterns, including ones that work for my current needs ( Include X but Exclude Y). However, it means that my RSS filters are now substantially more complex that they were previously. The "Download torrents from matching items" makes sense, but "Download torrents of non matching items" only makes sense in a very limited way unless I'm just missing something.

Is there a (simpler) way to replicate the previous exclude filter behavior and I simply haven't discovered it yet?

I'm having trouble with the same thing. Some of my feeds read strangely and merely adding .avi as an include doesn't always work.
I need to be able to filter out 720p and other phrases.

staticabsorption if you could just tell us how to do the (Include X but Exclude Y) thing would be wonderful, thanks.
