Hi, I'm using ktorrent 3.1.2 in Ubuntu 8.10 and 9.04. I'm a member of a few private torrent trackers, and when I use Deluge (ports forwarded through my router/firewall) everything shows fine, but if I try to use ktorrent it shows me as firewalled. I'm using the same forwarded ports for both, but only running one at a time. Any ideas why? Don't know if it's a big deal or not, it seems to work okay, just curious.
Also, where does ktorrent keep the banned peer list? Manually banned, not ipfiltered. Thanks in advance. |

The firewalled icon just means that you haven't received any incoming connections yet. On some torrents this might take some time.

Thanks for the reply, perhaps I should have been more specific. The firewalled notice doesn't show up in ktorrent, it shows up on the tracker site, but only when ktorrent is used, With the same settings Deluge does NOt show up as firewalled. The 'port' and 'UDP tracker port' are both set to the same forwarded ports in both clients and the firewall.
I have banned a few peers, but I have no such file in my /ktorrent folder - are these temp settings? I do not use any PeerGuardian or other filter list. |

It might be that your UPnP in your router is not compatible with ktorrent UPnP implementation, which is sad for you.
