Sort by Seeding Time!

Sun Oct 04, 2009 1:31 am
Hi!

I want to sort my torrents by seeding time but i happens excatly nothing if I press on the list. Also if I press on name or whatever happens nothing, have I to hold any button meanwhile, or what is my mistake? Is it an install failure?
My Ktorrent version is 3.2.1, using KDE 4.2.2.

Thanks in advance,

Heast

You only have to click on the column header.

I have no problem sorting the time seeded column in 3.2.4, try upgrading to that version.

I'm having the same problem as the OP. I'm using KTorrent version 3.3.2 on KDE 4.3.3. I can resize the column headers just fine, hoewver a single click on them will not change the sorting. I'm accessing my system through a VNC connection (my server doesn't have a monitor); I thought this might be a problem. However, I tested sorting columns in Konqueror and It works fine. Any ideas on how to fix this?

That is probably a Qt bug. I have only seen such behavior on a virtual machine, I never figured out what was going wrong.

I was able to get this working by upgrading x11vnc and using the newly added "-env X11VNC_WATCH_DX_DY=1" option when starting x11vnc. The x11vnc faq referenced a post here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1223490
While this is a gnome issue, I still though I'd let others know about it on the off chance it helps you or the qt people track down similar bugs.
