I've just had one machine banned from the network because it's mac adresse (physical adresse, 6 pairs of hex digits) was reported. Is there a way to configure ktorrent so that it does not send this information?

Every packet you send out over ethernet or wlan has a mac address, there is nothing you can do about that. Ethernet or WLAN would not work without it.

In any case if you like you can change your Mac address. And restore it to defaults later
