Re-downloading existing downloads

Fri Nov 27, 2009 10:31 am
Dear all,
I re-installed Ktorrent after format.
When i try to re load existing downloads it tries to re-download them and stalls...
I have specified the folders where the files are but no success..
Am I missing something here?
Should it identify that the file is downloaded already ?
Any help?
Thanks,
Mouratos of Greece

If you select the right place the files should be found, and a data scan should be started.

Note since 3.3rc1, KT will give you a hint if existing files are found in the file selection dialog (below the file tree).

Thank you for the response...
What do you mean right place?
I have given destinations for saved downloads and for saved torrents should I give something more?
thanks again,

Case Solved...
What one must do is just go through
File>Import Torrent give destination for Torrent and Data File and voila!!!
Seeding Starts at once...
Thank you ,
