I had to restart 3.3.1, and when it restarted, the following stats had been zeroed out: Share Ratio, Uploaded, Time Seeded, Time Downloaded ....
Any way to restore these numbers??! ![]() |

The stats file of that torrent must have been corrupted, there is no backup for this.
Normally this should only be possible if KT crashes when it is saving that file. |

Damn. And it was ALL the torrent files (about 18 of them), not just one... Can you tell me which files they are, and where they're kept? Maybe I could do a backup of them once in awhile? 'preciate the news (even if it's bad). ![]() |

basically speaking, u should backup the files in case of being missing or sth.

I suggest you backup ~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent, that will backup everything about all torrents you are currently running.
Note, given the fact that all stats are lost, I would run a filesystem check, because normally that shouldn't be possible. |

Yeah, in months of using ktorrent, that's never happened before... Thanks for the suggestion. [edit] I noticed last night that my /home partition was VERY full. (I had ripped a DVD and had temp files left over, or something...) I wonder if that contributed to the stats going missing? Like I said, KTorrent has NEVER borked my stats like that before... [2nd edit] The more I think about it, the more I think I lost those stats because of a full partition. I was having other odd problems yesterday--like firefox profiles that kept getting borked, etc. I've cleared out the offending files, and things seem back to normal. (I also ran, as suggested, an 'fsck'--but all was well...) Thanks for the tips, everyone! |
