I'm sure this is a common problem, but i'm a noobie to using openSuse or linux and i'm not real sure how to combat this problem. I do not have a router, and i'm having problems keeping connected to the active torrent. it will work for a few seconds when I first turn the program on but then it stalls. I'm sure my problem is in my settings. I went to my firewall and opened ports 6881 and 4444 but it is still happening.

Any help is greatly appreciated

What does it say in the log file ? You can find it in ~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent/log .

well, i'm using 11.2 and there is no location like that and after i navigated around, I found ktorrent/ etc....but no .log file
