Where is ktorrent getting the date format from (I am referring specifically to the "Date Published" column in the Syndication plugin)?

In the KDE Control Center, I have the short date format set to "YYYY-MM-DD", and the time format set to "HH:MM:SS".

I detest the "DD/MM/YYYY" format so much, I have patched my glibc (so that my locale uses the ISO 8601 date and time format) and recompiled my entire system.

Yet ktorrent (somewhere, somehow) still manages to come up with "DD/MM/YYYY" (and hh:MM [AP]M).

Why are the KDE settings being ignored? Where is this coming from?

If you don't fix this, I will attempt to patch my personal copy before compiling to rid myself of this abomination.
