Using the KDE Win version of KT 3.3.1. Whether forwarding ports manually or via uPnP I am not connectable.
Tests of the open ports show the web interface working perfectly, and operable and accepting connections. But the app itself is not connectable. Any suggestions? Win VISTA home premium, Westell FiOS WiFi Modem/Router. |

I have added it to exceptions, but I'll double check. Thanks for the suggestion.
I have added the specific port, and still no luck. WEBUI continues to work as intended. Do I need to add an underlying kdewin app to the list? ///// ETA I have installed and run on a Windows XP machine, and there are no issues, there... |

No, only ktorrent should be enough.
Strange, something must be blocking it. Are you sure that ktorrent is bound to the port you opened ? |

George,
Yes, both the uPnP tab in KTorrent (when applicable, i.e. the Plugin is enabled) shows the port, and releases and binds manually. Also, the uPnP/Port Forward in my Router shows KTorrent, either manually, or via uPnP, bound to the port. It also properly releases and binds as you change settings. If I open another app on that port it responds, so it seems like VISTA is having an issue, as, as above, XP SP3 doens't. I'm flummoxed. |

Anyone at all got an idea? I'd dearly love to solve this issue.

Just checking in. Is there any log file or external app I can run to find out why this may be happening?
Also, any idea whom to prod to get the version of KTorrent in KDE Win upgraded? |
