Hello everyone,
First of all "Happy new year" ![]() My previous space preallocation problem apparently got solved by a change of partition format. Now I sport ext3 on that partition. I can download but I can't seem to upload much at all. So I'm wondering if I haven't got the rights wrong on that partition: I set them rwxrwx--- on the container directory and rw-rw---- on the files inside themselves. I believe ktorrent gets access anyway. Am I right? Or does ktorrent need another rights configuration? Or does it need to work with another user-group combination (as u=normal_user and g=root)? (Under fat32 it worked, so I reused the same combination). Thanks ludo |

Not seeding much? Do you seed at all? If you do, you obviously have rights.
Not seeding is more likely a networking and bittorrent issue, than one of read/write. |
