I'm not sure whether everything is really lost...
After startup I went into the ktorrent gui as I always do and just realised that everything was gone: all the torrents up and downloading, all their state and statistics, and so on...
Settings in configuration are still there though, and files called .kde/share/config/ktorrentrc and .kde/share/apps/RecentDocuments/ktorrentrc.desktop and the directory .kde/share/apps/ktorrent are still there too... The first named above even shows the (apparently) correct previous situation... with the section [KFileDialog Settings] showing all the torrents which were on up adn download...
Is there a way to save this situation?

Are there any directories named torX where X is a number in ~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent ?

I don't understand: this evening after a fresh cold start, everything is back there, back to normal - just like it was yesterday evening...
I don't know what happened when I started my computer earlier on this afternoon...
