Hello everyone,
After my problem (with lost information) got solved without my knowledge, I now get this message everytime I start ktorrent (I start it manually as I need it): "You are already downloading this torrent (file name follows), the list of trackers of both torrents has been merged." Before the previous problem was solved, I tried to help out myself test-wise (on some torrents) by reimporting torrents individually by doing "File --> Open --> new torrent ...". So I tend to now suspect that perhaps some list got duplicated somewhere - but I don't know where. Does anybody have any idea for me? I would really appreciate. Ludo |

You have a duplicate torrent which is being loaded at startup all the time. It can be fixed by removing the tor directory of that torrent.
There have been some changes in 3.3.3 which will deal with this situation and remove the duplicate torrent directories. I'm planning to release 3.3.3 tomorrow. |

Hello George,
hello everyone, Thanks for your help. Indeed there was a duplication of tor directories in the ktorrent temp directory. Problem is solved: I removed all the tor directories. And reloaded all the .torrents into ktorrent. I did lose my stats but as they were not so old or so significant (two days) I didn't mind... I could have done otherwise (keeping those of the tor that had the most actual data), but time is the factor... Cheers and keep it up! Ludo |
