trouble with rss feed - solved

Sat Jan 16, 2010 4:06 pm
Using ktorrent 3.2, and 3.3 does the same thing

I have my rss feed set up properly, and can show the feed. I can set up a filter and it tests ok and the feed shows the blue d/l arrow. However nothing downloads. When I try to select a manual download in the feed window I get the following error

Couldn't find a valid link to a torrent on http://xxxx.org/download.php/14327/BBQ. ... 01.torrent

If I load the link in firefox, ktorrent downloads it fine. If I go to "open url" and paste the link I get the following error

An error occurred while loading the torrent:
Illegal token: 60
The torrent is probably corrupt or is not a valid torrent file.

any ideas? This is my first and only rss feed. I'm going to try another feed now.

Thanks

solved - ktorrent uses the cookies from konqueror so logging in one time with konq fixed the problem.
