Hi,

Having a problem when trying to connect to torrentech's private tracker. In KTorrent, I always seems to get "invalid data from tracker" or sometimes just "Error" as message. While trying other clients, like Vuze, qBittorrent and Transmission, this problem does not occur and these clients have no problem connecting to the tracker. I also asked over at torrentech if their tracker blocks certain clients but pyc's response (torrentech admin) said that their tracker doesn't. Looking today in the logs of KTorrent, I don't seem to get any wiser from it.

Using KTorrent 4.0beta1

PS: the above seems to "fix" itself after a while, but when a new torrent is opened, it always acts like that then after some time it suddenly can connect to the tracker. It behaves similarly when creating and seeding torrents, not just downloading them

Go to the advanced settings, and enable "Do not use KIO for tracker announces", that will fix it.
