After going through the motions and successfully (?) compiling/building etc v3.3.4, when I start ktorrent again, it still shows as 3.2.4 -- unfortunately I haven't found any useful information about upgrading.

After retrieving all necessary dependencies & such, it was built fine & installed .. but I'll be darned if I can figure the rest out.

Any not-too-technical information is greatly appreciated, and please bear in mind that I"m a recent Linux convert (Mint 8 x64) and I'm still very green

--edit--Seeing as I have about 20 torrents seeding, would I be better off removing ktorrent completely, and building v4 and then reseeding what I have?

Did you install it in another location? Maybe 3.3.4 has been installed in a different location and so it starts 3.24 coz already exists. What is the output of
