Im having an issue with Ktorrent 3.3.4 and its when I try to seed files download from another bittorent client, esp when the file creates another folder in my target download directory, it wants to create another folder and download the file again in the directory where its been fully downloaded. Its an issue I always have when switching other bittorrent clients, except for utorrent and Bittornado. Every bit torrent client should have this scenario addressed in their FAQs. Any Ktorrent specific solution for this?

How about selecting the right directory. If it is a multi file torrent, select the directory where the toplevel directory of the torrent is in. If the other clients use the directory name specified in the torrent, then it will find the files and scan them.

If that doesn't work, use KTorrent -> Import Torrent
