Sometimes upload overpowers download and ratio gets skewed disregarding 1.00 limit set up in client's settings.

Why does this happen? How can one prevent this from happening?

I'm using KTorrent 4.0.3 (previous versions had this issue too). It seems to be happening regardless of DHT and peerexchange being turned on or off but I'm not completely sure.

Basically, often times I end up with 1.47 or even 2.54 even though I explicitly limit a torrent to 1.00.

The limit is only applied when a torrent is seeding, so if upload goes faster then download, you will go over it, and the torrent will stop once it has finished downloading.

It was never intended to be used during downloading as some sort of target share ratio.

I suspected that it simply wasn't a protocol defined behavior. Thanks!
