Hello everyone,
i would like to export a list of all torrents currently in ktorrent. needed would be "name" (as in torrent name), "filename" (of the individual files in the torrent) and the files exact "size" in byte. so far i tried to: - grep the logfile: doesnt work since not all torrents are "initialized" (?) yet - get the info from the webinterface: the size is for example 1.9Mb, not the needed 1712321 byte - write a script: even the "hello world" example didnt write anything into the log is there any easy solution i didnt see? else i fear i have to try scripting again.. (can i write to other files than the log?) kubuntu, kde 4.4.2, ktorrent 3.3.4 thank you for any suggestion you might have! manuel (and thanks for the bugmenot-account too!) |

i found out how to do this.
all the info is already in the .torrent file (obviously). In this Wiki article i found out these files are bencoded. after many tries, i found the script HERE to do what i want! ![]() too bad the ktorrent scripting didnt work, will maybe have a second look into this later. hope that may help anyone with similar questions! manuel |

Downloading a torrent without a bittorrent client is not possible.
