Does the syndication plugin have some way to get the syndication plugin to remember what it has already downloaded and not download what it has already seen?
I am trying to use syndication combines with the automatic remove script. The files download from the rssfeed fine and get removed, but then when the rss feed updates ktorrent begins to redownload what it had already completed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Brett |

The syndication plugin remembers which items of the feed it has downloaded. To determine equality of items it will use the id property of the item in the feed or if no id is provided a hash of title, description and content.
Which feed is showing this behavior ? |

Thank you for the quick response.
It is happening with the eztv latest feed: http://www.ezrss.it/feed/ To be a bit more specific, the downloads don't come back immediately after the file is deleted. Immediately after the file is deleted, if I manually refresh the feed or the auto update goes off, the download isn't starting. It starts up again some time later, but I do not know for sure yet what the trigger is. I suspect it is happening when a new item is added to the feed. Is there someway to see Syndication's history/memory to see what hash/id it is using? Thanks, Brett |

I should probably add: I am using Ktorrent 4.0.3 on Ubuntu 10.10.
