missing torrents

Tue Jul 12, 2011 2:34 pm
My torrents all disappeared from ktorrent because the drive they were on didn't automount.
I click "Open" and navigate to the "torx" folder, change the filter to show all files and open the "torrent".
If the filter defaults to files of type torrent then the file should be called "torrent.torrent". :-)

Then remount the drive and restart ktorrent, and all of those torrents will be found again.

With un-mounted drives, KT sometimes loses the correct path for its folder to store torrent information in (especially if that path was on the un-mounted drive). So, if restarting KT after mounting the drive doesn't automatically find them, make sure Configure >> Application >> "Folder to store torrent information:" has the proper directory.

It didn't find the torrents, I had to open them all.
So it should have worked, mmm. :-(
