Under settings --> configure ktorrent --> network
I used the command "recommended settings" and it sets the "Maximum download speed" to 400 kiB/s.
Would it be a problem if I choose a bigger number? Would downloads be faster? Would I get troubles with something else if I choose bigger speed?

It might impact other programs on your computer or other computers on your local network.
