HI!
For some reason all Magnet URI I pass to Ktorrent never start to download, but they work with others torrents clientes like Qbittorrent or Transmission. Normal torrents using .torrents files works great as allways.

I also get this error, seen it for a couple months. Never much bothered me since magnet links were always secondary to the actual .torrent files but now that PirateBay is going fully magnet I reckoned I would drop by and ask about it..

Anyway here's a screenshot of what's happening when a magnet link is clicked. It has been running for 20 minutes and no data has been downloaded though there's hundreds of connections to other peers/seeds.

It goes from stalled to downloading the whole time, sometimes pulling the kind of tiny download speeds you see there, but none of it counts as valid data. Also, the filesize is counted as zero even though there's 700 chunks in it. DHT is on and all ports are properly forwarded.

If I click the actual torrent I get a message that the torrents have been merged, but no downloading happens. However if I delete the magnet from KTorrent and download the torrent file, I see fast speeds, it starts downloading instantly. This is the same torrent but I deleted the magnet and used the file: http://imgur.com/ecn60
After only ten seconds the same file is coming along super fast even though I'm not connected to as many seeds.

You deselected all the files of that torrent, there is nothing to download.

I tried my first magnet today and had the same problem. The files were deselected to begin with, but selecting them worked. A bug? I'm running 4.1.3.

Didn't happen when I tried a magnet link two days ago with latest code. Do you open torrents silently ? Or did you get the file selection dialog ?

There is something in the back of my head saying there was some issue with all files getting deselected. But I don't remember the details, and can't find anything in the commit logs.

OK, ran into this problem myself yesterday, so I can reproduce it, which should make it easy to fix.
