I am user of opensuse and I have problem with scripts in ktorrent. I have noticed that before KDE4.6 scripts in ktorrent were OK. After upgrading opensuse and kde, scripts started to cause random crash of ktorrent and as of kde 4.6.5 and later it is not possible to use scripts.
I compiled ktorrent from git and everything is fine except script hint says: no interpreter could be found.. and krosspython is required.
Can anybody tel me where is the problem? KDE in openSuSE or in ktorrent ?
I am guessing in opensuse KDE.
Thanks.

This:

http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/searc ... spython.so

seems to suggest that krosspython is parth of the python-kde4 package

It only seems that krosspython is part of package but is not. It is not part of any available package with python in name or description known to me.
Google is not helpful. I only find that there was krosspython in 4.6 packages but in newer packages is missing. No explanation in changelog where is kross. I tried to compile this package but is obsolete for suse12.1 and it can be compiled.
I e-mailed to Dirk Mueller dmueller@suse.com (maintainer or packager) but he was/is unavailable.
Can You direct me to someone who is familiar with opensuse kde and python.
I just need scripts in ktorrent to "work" again..
Thank You again.
