I am using Ubuntu 11.04 with Ktorrent. I am having a problem with a Syndication feed. I use two sites to download from, they both have similar torrents, both British programs. I can get syndication filters to work on one site but the same filter will not work on the other.

I a feed if I select a torrent and click download, on the site that does not work, I get an error message "Cannot find a valid link to a torrent on" then it gives me the address it cannot find. If I copy that address from the error box and paste it to my browser it gets the torrent and will download it.

Can anybody help me with this problem, please?

Oh! sorry, first time I wrote I gave the link but because I am new it would not allow the link. Then I forgot.

The link is: thebox.bz
uknova.com works as it should.

Thanks.

Found the problem, the algorithm which checks for torrent links didn't take into account some relative links.

OK, should be fixed in the master branch now.

Note: that in order for you to work with thebox.bz rss feed, you have to login to it with konqueror, otherwise it won't work.

What version of ktorrent is this issue fixed in? I'm seeing the same message from the same site with ktorrent 4.2.1. Will and upgrade to 4.3.0 resolve it? I'm on Gentoo, so could patch 4.2.1 ...

Ahh, problem exists between keyboard and chair :-(. I missed the detail about first logging in via konqueror. I use a different browser by default and had that logged into thebox.bz when the error appeared. Logging in via konqueror and it's all good. Many thanks.
