A new upgrade for KDE 4.8.3 under Kubuntu 12.04 came through yesterday (200+ files), and I suddenly had a very strange problem occur when trying to start KTorrent. It would draw the GUI and then crash... repeatedly. I rebooted and it continued. I launched from a terminal and got:

QDBusConnection: session D-Bus connection created before QCoreApplication. Application may misbehave.
QDBusConnection: session D-Bus connection created before QCoreApplication. Application may misbehave.
KGlobal::locale::Warning your global KLocale is being recreated with a valid main component instead of a fake component, this usually means you tried to call i18n related functions before your main component was created. You should not do that since it most likely will not work

I Googled this and found vague references, but no solution. Here is the weird part. It took me some time to Google this... 15 minutes or so. Then when I tried it again, KTorrent started up just fine.

Any ideas?
