Hi

tonight when i powered up my computer and started ktorrent, all my torrents were gone.

The folder where I keep all the files is there. Everything that I was seeding or downloading is there, but nothing appears in the torrent window. Except a magnet that happened to open when I started ktorrent. The folder in preferences is correct, everything seems to be all right, but I've got no torrents but that single one.

Is there a way to recover them?

Depending on your distro, ktorrent keeps its files either in ~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent/ or in ~/.kde4/share/apps/ktorrent/, so you could look in there for starters.

Yes that directory should contain a bunch of subdirectories named torX where X is a number. If those are gone you will have to reimport all the torrents, if those are still there, something strange is going on.

I am having the same issue, seems there is a backup of all the torxx files, I copied those files to ~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent/ and all the torrents are back.
