In a nutshell:
I have a server with two nics: em1 with IP 192.168.2.105, and em2 with IP 192.168.1.105, I configured KTorrent to use only em1. But I have problems with certain torrents. In particular, any with a tracker that uses UDP - and that includes DHT. Using wireshark, I discovered that KTorrent was using interface em1 for all UDP requests. em2 still gets everything else. This won't work with my firewall, since the 192.168.2.0 network is my dmz, and all torrent traffic has to go through there. What's going on? Is this a bug? Please help! I can't use any magnet links because of this! FWIW: I'm using KTorrent vers. 4.3.0, KDE vers. 4.9.2. running on Fedora 17. TIA ken |
