Ktorrent always saves the magnet links (i mean where the files will be downloaded) to ~/.kde/share/apps/kio_magnet directory! is there a way to set this to my desired path?

(my specs: debian wheezy/3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.35-2 x86_64 GNU/Linux, ktorrent v 4.3.0, kde v 4.8.4)

if it can't be changed (don't know, as don't use) you could use a symbolic link (http://linuxreviews.org/beginner/#toc18)

something like:

mv ~/.kde/share/apps/kio_magnet   ~/where-I-want-it

ln -s  ~/where-I-want-it   ~/.kde/share/apps/kio_magnet

I had to update to an upper version of 4.3.0 from experimental repos. same deal. i now use qbittorrent.
