Hello! I'm searching in internet the solve for this problem.
Some downloads finish 100% but when I want to copy it in another place an error message interrupt the process. When I verify these files (Ctrl+C), ktorrent detect a problem with them. Could I download only the" damage part" against 7.00Gb or 14.00Gb that total size of my files? I'm using ktorrent 4.0.5. Many tks and sorry by my english. Isn't my native language ![]() Brgds |

Is the destination location on a file system which supports large files ( > 4 gigabytes )?
Please note that file systems such as FAT32 do not support large files, while ext2/3/4, NTFS, etc all do support large files.

bcooksley many tks for your response.
I have an ext4 partition. I have already downloaded files bigger than 4Gb but someones has this problem. I think in a ktorrent issue. |

Is there a particular size above which files become corrupted?
Does this behaviour always occur, or does it occur only some of the time, and not reproducible (with the same torrents)?

It seems to be a random issue no matter the file's sizes.
Sometimes I download big files without any problem. I checked in the forum and other users could download the files and they are using it normally. It seems strange to me ktorrent shows "100%" and then not be able to open the files. There is some way to fix or download only the wrong piece of file? Tks and Brgds |
