A couple months back I migrated to a new machine. I used the same CD to install Kubuntu as on my previous machine, Kubuntu 12.04.
In queue manager, I do not see buttons for filtering the view to display only files for downloading or uploading. The 4 buttons for moving files up and down the queue are present as is the Find button to make the text bar appear and type in a specific or partial file name that will appear in bold in the list. Is there an option I need to set in Preferences? |

Please check that the same versions of KDE are being used - you could have upgraded from a PPA or installed updates which added these features.

I had to let this go for a while and am just getting back to it.
I have compared the two computers. The versions of Kubuntu and KTorrent are the same. If a PPA or update installed these features, it is not something I consciously changed. To my recollection on the old system, these buttons were on the interface from the time I installed Kubuntu and started Ktorrent fresh. Any and all updates to Ktorrent came through the Muon Package Manager. I checked and these buttons are not a plugin that comes with KTorrent, nor can I find a resource on the web that offers it in the off chance I did download the plugin and don't remember. Scratching my head wondering why one installation can have nuances over another. |

Yes! Those are the buttons in question.
Both computers use the same system wide theme of Oxygen. Trying your suggestion of creating a new user and logging in on those credentials yielded that the buttons/icons do not appear. Which only seems to deepen the question of why I am getting different results from the installation of the same software on two machines. Puzzling. |
